Our collection of antique maps of the British Isles spans from the 16th to the 20th century. It begins with the 1513 Waldseemüller edition of Ptolemy’s map, one of the earliest printed representations of Britain, and includes maps illustrating key moments such as the Spanish Armada and later decorative works by Leslie MacDonald Gill. The collection features detailed maps of England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales by leading cartographers including Ortelius, Speed, and Moll.
