Description

A sketch map of the route of the proposed Regent's Canal, from the Edgware Road east to Camden High Street. There is no sign of the proposed Regent's Park,, but Lord's New Cricket Ground is shown, two years before the first match. The plan was published in a report on Crown lands by the Commissioners of His Majesty's Woods, Forests, and Land Revenues (now the Crown Estate).
