A small format map of Europe after Ortelius

A reduced version of the map of Europe from the Ortelius atlas of 1570, published in 'Relationi Universali di Giovanni Botero'. Although a very similar map was included in the 'Relationi' when it was first published in 1582, this is a new plate cut for this edition. Despite time passed, the cartography is unaltered, although a line has been drawn encircling the continent.
