Description

An unusual map, engraved by Thomas Bowles, derived from the so-called 'Agas' type map, but with added insets of important buildings, including the Royal Exchange. the West Front of the old St Paul's Cathedral and the buildings of Fleet Street and Cheapside. At the bottom a prospect of London after Hollar titled: The South Prospect of London as it appeared when it lay in Ruins after the Dreadfull Fire in 1666. Originally published in 1724.

Condition:

Binding folds flattened, very fine impression.
