Description
An attractive plan of Genoa with a 77-point key, engraved by Giovanni Lorenzo Guidotti after Brusco (1739-1817), a civil engineer. In appeared in the first guidebook to Genoa, 'Istruzione di quanto può vedersi di più bello in Genova in pittura, scultura, ed architettura', compiled by the painter Carlo Giuseppe Ratti. A second edition was published in 1780.
Condition:
Repaired tear, bottom right margin trimmed by binder as usual and new margin added.Related products
