Description
A proof state of this map of Surrey, on a scale of 1½ inches to a mile, one of only thirteen counties surveyed by Bryant between 1822 and 1835.
As the corresponding map by Christopher Greenwood (Bryant's chief competitor) was only 1 inch to the mile, this is the most impressive 19th century map of Surrey.
