Description

A detailed plan of the environs of Corfu City, orientated with north to the upper right. The style and the focus on the city's defences suggest it was drawn by a military engineer, possibly when Corfu was occupied by France after the fall of the Venetian Republic in 1797.

Condition:

A little spotting, split at top of a vertical fold.
