A plan of Kamianets-Podilskyi presented as a bird's-eye view. in western Ukraine, showing the fortified city with the defences and other building in perspective, with important buildings identified in a key.
Kamianets-Podilskyi, a city on the Smotrych River in western Ukraine, had been taken by the Ottomans in 1672. Soon after the map was published the city was returned to the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth by the Treaty of Karlowitz.(1699).
