Description
A scarce French sea chart of the Mediterranean Basin and the countries bordering it, embellished with numerous details such as galleons locked in combat, wind roses and rhumb lines. The title contained in an ornate cartouche flanked by Oriental Traders and animals emphasising the wealth of the region. Engraved by Van Loon.
