Description
A detailed map of the Caspian Sea and environs, orientated with north to the left, so Astrakan appears on the left of the map. It is based on the survey by Karl Van Verden as published by Rainer Ottens in Amsterdam. Engraved by Johannes Petroschi, it is dedicated to Tsar Peter the Great.
