Description

A large and detailed map of Singapore as a Crown Colony, on a scale of 1½" to a mile. The key differentiates between agricultural land and forest reserve. Insets show Pulau Tekong & Pulau Tekong Kechil, and Pulau Pawai, Pulau Sudong and Pulau Senang. The Federated Malay States Survey was founded in 1922, creating the first scientifically-produced maps of the region.

Condition:

Old folds, laid on archival canvas.
