Description

A scarce plan of central London published during the Great Exhibition of 1851, with the Crystal Palace in its original position to the south of the Serpentine River in Hyde Park. It was published for French visitors attracted to London by the exhibition, and has twelve illustrations of other tourist destinations, including St Paul's Cathedral and Westminster Abbey.

Condition:

Some restoration, including manuscript fill to top left, laid on linen.
