An uncommon wartime edition of a folding leaflet map of the New York City subway, overprinted with information about 'The Public Telephone Center for the Armed Forces', which opened in November 1943 to help the many service people passing through the city make telephone calls in transit. On the reverse is a text ''War's on the Wires, Too'', requesteding the calls are kept as brief as possible to keen the lines clear.
