Description
Sanson's map of Africa, redrawn on a larger scale by Alexis-Hubert Jaillot at the request of Sanson's heirs. After a dispute Jaillot passed his work to the Amsterdam publisher Mortier, who re-engraved the maps and issued his own 'Atlas Nouveau' still with the original attributions.
