Description

A large and decorative antique map of North America after Sanson, redrawn on a larger scale by Jaillot at the request of Sanson's heirs, originally published in 1674. For this third and final state California has been redrawn to make its status as a possible island very ambiguous, and Lake Superior has been introduced.
