Description
A double-hemisphere celestial chart with the constellations in their allegorical figures, with maps of the sun, moon and the five known planets in the borders. It was engraved by Van Loon.
French astronomer Philippe de La Hire (1640-1718), helped Cassini on the triangulation survey of France.
