Description

A plan of the Pruth River Campaign (or the Russo-Ottoman War of 1710-1) in which an Ottoman Army under Grand Vizier Baltacı Mehmet Pasha surrounded a joint Moldavian and Russian army (led by Peter the Great) forced them to surrender. Published in Aubry de la Motraye's 'Travels through Europe, Asia, and into Part of Africa', which also included early works by William Hogarth.
