Description

A map of the coasts of North Africa in two panels. The upper panel shows from Morocco east to Tripoli, with the Straits of Gibraltar and Sicily, with an inset of Oran. The lower panel shows from Gerbi to Antioch in Syria, with Malta, Crete and Cyprus. Moll first published his 'Atlas Minor' in 1729 but, shortly after his death in 1732, Thomas Bowles and his son John reissued it with plate numbers added.
