Description

An English map of their provinces of North Carolina and South Carolina, which includes Georgia and part of northern Florida, west to the Apalachee River and Appalachian Mountains. An engraved text bottom right lays out the English claims to the region. Moll first published his 'Atlas Minor' in 1729 but, shortly after his death in 1732, Thomas Bowles and his son John reissued it with plate numbers added, as this example.
