Description
A map of the Netherlands, unusually marking the main roads. Upper left is a plan of Arx Britannica (Brittenburg), a Roman fort now submerged at sea, but exposed by an exceptionally low tide and mapped by Abraham Ortelius in 1562.
Moll first published his 'Atlas Minor' in 1729 but, shortly after his death in 1732, Thomas Bowles and his son John reissued it with plate numbers added.
