Description

British troops forming squares prior to an assault. On the right a ground of artillerymen stand around a Congrieve-Rocket launcher. An aquatint after Lieutenant Joseph Moore of the 89th Regiment, published in his 'Views taken at or near Rangoon, and combined operations in the Birman Empire', an account of the First Anglo-Burmese War (1824-6).
