Description

A miniature map of the Holy Land, marking the Exodus from Egypt. It was published in the 'Epitome', a pocket version of the Ortelius 'Theatrum Orbis Terrarum'. This example is from the first plate used, engraved by Filips Galle, and comes from the only Italian edition with this plate.
