Description

A miniature map of Turkey and Cyprus, orientated with north to the bottom of the map.. It was published in the 'Epitome', a pocket version of the Ortelius 'Theatrum Orbis Terrarum'. This example is from the first plate used, engraved by Filips Galle, and comes from the only Italian edition with this plate.
