Description

Scarce plan of the Siege of Luxembourg in 1684, in which France attacked the Spanish-controlled Fortress of Luxembourg as part of the War of the Reunions. A key highlights the fortifications of both sides. The plan was engraved by Puthaux for Charles Sevin de Quincy's 'Histoire militaire du règne de Louis le Grand'.
