Description

Engraved by Jan van Somer, the map shows Pakistan through to Indo-China, with the Malay Peninsula and most of Sumatra. Singapore is marked. This is the first state of this map, which was first issued separately, before being added to Sanson's Atlas 'Les Cartes Générales de toutes parties du Monde', first issued 1658.
