Description

A 15th century woodcut prospect of Florence, one of the double-page views published in the famous incunabulum, 'The Nuremberg Chronicle'. Although not completely accurate, it depicts the dome engineered by Filippo Brunelleschi and the Tower of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore ( the Duomo di Firenze)

Condition:

Repairs to stitch holes at centre fold, as usual, tape stains on reverse.
