Description
A scarce pocket atlas by Schindelmayer (1769-1839), published by the heirs of Franz Anton Schrämble (1751-1803). 25 maps relate to Europe; and twenty to the rest of the world, including two hemispheres, Persia, Arabia, India, China, North Africa (with an odd depiction of the Sahara Desert), the United States and Australasia.
Condition:
Bookplate on front pastedown, mss. on first preliminary and endpaper, title damp stained, some slight soiling throughout.Related products
