A caricature map of Scotland

A rare caricature map of Scotland, featuring a kilted man dancing on crossed claymores and a view of Edinburgh Castle. All the placenames are coastal, so Edinburgh itself is not marked. Lilian Lancaster (1852-1939) produced several caricature maps (also under her married name of Tennant), most famously the 'Aleph' series of maps of European countries.
