Highly detailed local plan of Peckham

A highly detailed local plan which encompasses the areas of Peckham, Camberwell, Denmark Hill, and East Dulwich. The Camberwell workhouse and the Lambeth County Court are featured. Between 1857 and 1863, the Weekly Dispatch Atlas published a series of maps. Cassell then published the collection as a atlas in 1863. Maps from this atlas bear the distinctive image of half a globe with a winged Mercury above.
