One of the earliest maps of the Hawaiian islands by Captain Cook, which he discovered in November 1778. This map includes an inset of Karakakooa Bay where Cook met his death in February 1779. The islands are named: Owhyhee, Mowee, Morotoi, Ranai, Woahoo, Atooi and Oneeheow.
