A detailed map of India, Sri Lanka and Nepal, extending through the Punjab to Kabul in Afghanistan.
Reginald Heber (1783-1826) became Bishop of Calcutta in 1823. The following year he set out on a 16-month tour around northern India, via Dhaka, Benares, Delhi and the foothills of the Himalayas, to Bombay.
