The two-volume auction catalogue for the sale of the 650 maps and atlases in the Wardington Library, collected by Christopher "Bic" Henry Beaumont Pease, 2nd Baron Wardington (1924-2005), and sold by Sotheby's in London over two sessions on 18 October 2005 and 10 October 2006. The items, which dated from 1472 to the late C20th, included a unique composite Lafréry atlas assembled by Andrea Doria, the Genoese admiral.
