A fine example of this map of Iceland, engraved by Jodocus Hondius for the 'Atlas Minor' of 1607, with a sea monster with a twin spout top right.
In 1621 the printing plates were sold to a London publisher , so later editions of the 'Atlas Minor' used new plates by Jansson.
