A highly decorative chart of the Atlantic coasts of Spain and Portugal, orientated with north to the left.
Published in the 'Orbis Maritimus ofte Zee Atlas', De Wit uses the decorative title cartouche in full original colour to vent his anti-Spanish feelings. One Spaniard is surrounded by kneeling captives, with a decapitated body to one side. A donnã has a small black child carrying her train.
