A skilled watercolour of the Royal Navy Hospital built by the British on the Illa del Rei in Mahon harbour in 1711, presented within a decorative frame-like border. The trapezoid format was used to that it would fit in a wooden panel on a yacht.
The hospital remained in use until 1964: it now houses the Hauser & Wirth Art Centre.
