A reduction of the Hondius map of Holland, engraved by Pieter Van den Keere for Cloppenburg's version of the Mercator 'Atlas Minor'. This was the least successful of three "pocket" editions of Gerard Mercator's atlas, and seems to have been supressed after 1636 until 1670, making the maps scarce on the market.
