A rare popular print of the last Frost Fair held on the Thames in London, looking towards Blackfriars Bridge and St Paul's Cathedral. The ice filled with tents selling food and drink, a game of skittles, horse racing and other activities. Howver more that one person is depicted falling through the ice.
To the left is a printing press: it is known that several printmakers published souvenirs such as this one on the ice.
