A colourful double-hemisphere world map, surrounded by tables.
Published over fifty years before Captain Cook's first circumnavigation, Australia and New Zealand only have partial outlines. To the north of Japan, the 'island of Yedo' (here 'Yeco') has hatchured lines suggesting it might be part of mainland Asia.
