A map showing the world in a single hemisphere, depicting those parts of the world that Catholic missionaries had reached. California is shown as an Island. Nova Hollandia ( Australia) is now clearly separated from Nova Guinea, although without a Southern Coastline. Northwest and Northeast passages are shown
It is decorated with vignettes of a ship crossing the ocean, Christ with a cross and herdsmen separating the sheep from the goats (an allegory of Christian missionaries), with the goats entering the mouth of a monster.
