Detailed 18th century map of Asia, with a decorative cartouche. A large imaginary Land of Jesso with an approximate coastal outline rises above Japan. East of Jesso is the imaginary "Straits of Uries" which lead to the imaginary Company's Land. Korea (Corea) is named within mainland China and shown as a peninsula and the sea with Japan is named " Sea of Corea "
