An unusual plan of London, extending further west than most maps of the period. As it reaches Hammersmith, Shepherds Bush and Walham Green, it depicts the sparce development of Chelsea, Knightsbridge and Kensington in the early 19th century.
The map was first published by Luffman in 1809; Langley purchased the plate around.1819, updating it.
