A rare view of Cortina d'Ampezzo in the southern Dolomiti Alps. In the 19th century the town gained a reputation as a health resort; it was reportedly free of diseases such as cholera. Nowadays it is a very popular holiday destination, well known for its ski-trails and beautiful scenery.
