A famous caricature map of Scotland

A separate-issue card, reduced from Dighton's famous 'Geography Bewitched' caricature map. Scotland is depicted as an ugly man kneeling on a tasselled cushion, holding a tartan bag behind his back. Robert Dighton had a long career as a caricaturist, although he had to supplement his income by stealing prints from the British Museum to sell.
