Description

A detailed map of the Balearic Islands, with three insets: the Port of Mahon. with Fort St Filipe marked 'demolido); a townplan of Madrid with a 179-point key; and a map of Ceuta, the Spanish encave on the coast of Africa opposite Gibraltar (the two Pillars of Hercules). The map was compiled for the ''Atlas Nacional de España'', with the text in Castilian Spanish. This example was issued separately.
