A scarce optical view of Quebec

An imaginary view / prospect of Quebec's quayside, with domed buildings and a lighthouse. In the foreground goods are being loaded onto a longboat. The print is a 'vue-d'optique', an engraving designed to be viewed through a 'zograscope', a device of lenses and mirrors that gave the image a sense of depth. Both the image and the title above the print are reversed.
