Description

A scarce 'double crown' poster of London's underground, shown with more geographical accuracy and with all lines coloured red. The lines are shown over a sketch road map with the bus routes. At the time of publication the British Empire Exhibition was still open at Wembley and the Northern Line extension from Clapham Common to Morden was still under construction. In the west, 'Hounslow Town', 'Heston Hounslow' and 'Hounslow Barracks' appear for the last time; by the next edition edition they had been renamed Hounslow East, Central and West respectively.
