Description

A bird's-eye view of West London from above Vauxhall Bridge, looking west up the Thames to Battersea Bridge. In the centre is Chelsea Bridge (here still called Victoria Bridge), with the Grosvenor Railway Bridge (which brings trains to Victoria Station) in the early stages of construction. Underneath, a 45-point key lists landmarks including Chelsea Hospital, the Kensington Museums, Cheyne Walk, the Serpentine and Vauxhall Gardens. Arial views of this area are uncommon.
