Description
A very decorative map of Catalonia and Roussillon after Abbé Michel Antoine Baudrand (1633-1700), with an inset map of Val d'Aran in the Pyrenees. The map was engraved by Claude Roussel, with a large cartouche enclosing the title, dedication and publisher's inscription, and a block of plan of the defences of twelve towns, including Barcelona, Perpignan, Palamos and Tarragona.
