Description

A map of the Chinese Empire divided into its provinces after French cartographer Robert Bonne, with a very fine Chinoiserie title cartouche depicting porcelain, lacquerwares and a mandarin with his attendants. Brothers Francesco and Paulo Santini were the editor and engraver respectively of their 'Atlas Universel', first issued in 1776, before selling the plates to Remondini in 1781.
