Description
A rare town plan of Famagusta, based on the Braun & Hogenberg plan published 1572.
It was published in from Henry de Beauvau's 'Relation Journaliere du Voyage du Levant', an account of the French diplomatic expedition of 1605-10 to Constantinople to meet the new Sultan, Ahmed I. A second edition was published in 1619 with identical letterpress.
